MATCH: AT HAMH.TOTT. LOWER WAIKATO V. MARIST. (From Our Own Correspondent.) .:, TATJPIRI, Wednesday. The following team will represent Lower Waikato at. Steele .Park, Hamilton, on Saturday in a match with Marist (Auckland) :—Full-back, C: Hill (Taupiri); three-quarters, G. Tittleton (Taupiri), G. Rayuor, (Huntly), J.-Whorskey (Huntly) ; five-eighths, W. Miki (Kia Ora), K. Peckham (Huntly) ; half, E. Abbott (Ngaruawahia) ; forwards, Laird (Ngaruawahia), J. Menzies (Ngaruawahia), Stevenson (Huntly), Timms (Huntly), Scott (Huntly), Jones (Huntly). Reserves: Backs, R. Garry (Taupiri), E. Kelly (Ngaruawahia) ; forwards. B. Jackways, W. Tittleton (both Taupiri).
The referees appointed for the day are Mr. E. H. McCall, of. Auckland, for-.the Mount Albert v. Hamilton match, to be played as curtain-raiser to the Lower Waikato v. Marist match, and Mr. A. Harlock (Huntly) for the rep. match. Touch judges, Messrs. A. Williams and H. Morris.
While in Hamilton, the Marist team will be staying at the Commercial Hotel, where they will be entertained at dinner on the Saturday evening. Afterwards a meeting will be held to reform the Hamilton League, when it is expected that Messrs. Rhodes, Sneddon and Hamill will be present.
