UNEMPLOYED BOYS.
RELIEF SCHEME FINALISED
AWAITS CABINET'S APPROVAL.

WELLINGTON, this day.
The Unemployment Board has finalised a scheme for the relief of unemployment amongst boys.
The Minister of Labour, the Hon. S. Gr. Smith, stated that he was not yet able to announce the details of the scheme, as it still awaited the approval of Cabinet.
WO WORK AT NAPIER. ENQUIRIES FROM AUSTRALIA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, Wednesday. The Mayor of Napier, Mr. J. Vigor Brown, has received a number of letters f»om people in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, asking for work, and several Austra-lians-have already arrived here seeking employment. The Mayor wishes to impress upon Australians that it is no use coming to Napier to look for work, as there are . iready several hundreds unable to get work, and these conditions are likely to last for a considerable time.
