LAWN TENNIS.
HORAHORA CLUB'S MEETING. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Saturday. Enthusiastic interest in the affairs of the Horahora Tennis Club was indicated by an attendance of 50 members at the first annual meeting held in the Horahora school last night.
'Dhe report disclosed a rapidly increasing roll of membership (Iβ others being nominated at the meeting), necessitating the accomplished provision of a third court, while other improvements are contemplated for the approaching season. The following officers were elected :-*■ Patron, Mr. F. EEigginson; preaident, Mr. F. Mogford;' Vice-president and treasurer, Mr. Parker; ! honorary secretary, Miss J. Redwood; club captain, Mr. D, McLeod; vice-captain, Mr. N. Nightingale; committee, Miss' Pitney, Messrs. EJ. Skinner, M. Baigent, M. Cameron, E. Timewell and fi. Donaldson { greunde cotamittee, Messrs, I* and N. Nightingale and F. liogford.
It was decided to enter for the Rishworth Sbjelfl, Mr, If. Bafgent being appoiatec! the club's delegate.
