CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING.
MORRINSVILLE CLUB'S MEETING.

MORRINSVILLE, Monday.
The principal event at the Morrinsville Gun Club's shoot on Saturday was the second round for the Tui Cup. The possible of nine birds was shot by J. Findlay. who also got a possible in the first round. There is another round to go. E. Green, who has won this cup in the two previous years, got eight birds. A turkey also went with this shoot. Details are as follow:—
First Sweep (seven birds each).—.T. Amundsen W. Aitken, J. Findlay, six each, divided the stake.
Second Sweep (seven birds). —C. Webber, J. Findlay, E. Green, six each, divided the stake.
Third Sweep (seven birds).—E. Green, possible; 3. Amundsen, W. Aitken and B, Maisey, six each.
Fourth Sweep (nine birds, for second round of Tui Cup).— J. Findlay, possible; E. Green, eight birds.
Fifth Sweep (seven birds). —W. Tilsley, J. Findlay, K. Buckley, six each. Sixth Sweep (American, five birds). — C. Webber, possible. Seventh Sweep (quail drive, five birds).— W. Aitken,. possible. Eighth Sweep (27yds, five birds).—C. Webber and W. Aitken, possible; E. Green, four birds, third.
