At midday a civic welcome -was' given to the Australian Rugby team -which nrrived by the Ulimaroa this morning ihe council chamber at the Town Hall was crowded.
"It gives me the greatest pleasure to extend to the members of the Australian team a cordial welcome to our city, said the Mayor, Mr. G. W.
