PETER PAN CABARET.
"Baquedano Xight" at the Peter Pan Cabaret on Saturday proved a most successful affair, a large official party of officers and midshipmen from the visiting Chilian warship General Baquedano being entertained at the cabaret by the Consul for Chile, ZSlr. Ernest Craig, and Mrs. Craig. The trim uniforms of the officers mingling with the pretty frocks of their partners made a. most charming picture, and the cabaret itself was looking particularly attractive, bowls 01" bright golden daffodils and poppies being arranged on the tables and in every available corner. Mrs. Craig was gowned in black lace threaded with gold, and wore a finger tip length coatee embroidered with sequins. She was assisted in looking after her guests by'her daughter, Mrs. K. C. Aekins, and Mrs. W. Boyle, Mrs. A. M. Ferguson, Mrs. J. T. Mitchell and Mrs. M. Copeland. Mrs Aekins wore a black tulle frock with silver embroideries; Mrs. Boyle, cocoa brown lacs over self-toned chiffon; Sirs. A. M. Ferguson, black satin beaute; Mrs. J. T. F. Mitchell, revenswing blue ring velvet; Mrs. Copeland, black lace relieved with pink. Among those in the official party were:—Mrs. Berthon, wearing black moire and diamante; Mrs. D. Commons,' ivory satin and lace; Miss Betty Ferguson, geranium red georgette; Miss Marjorie Dryden, mimosa yellow ring velvet; Miss Beverley Horrocks, black georgette relieved with silver; Miss Audrey Alison, moonlight blue brocaded georgette; Miss Betty Parr, royal blue brocaded metal cloth*; Miss Mary Mitchell, camelia pink satin; Miss " Gwen Kingston, forget-me-not blue faille; Miss Joyce Herdman, ivory taffeta; Miss Marjorie Vaile, white organdie sprigged with rose; Miss Mere Vaile, orange chiffon; Miss Rathbone, black georgette and lace; Mi&s Leslie Waller, black chiffon; Miss Molly Gifford, ivory moire; Miss Bona Gifford, royal blue georgette; Miss Jean .Horsley, ivory satin; Miss Mona Craig, black ring velvet; Miss Bloomfield, larkspur blue georgette; Miss Gladys Copeland, dawn pink taffeta; Miss Mary Wilson, phlox pink taffeta and tulle; Miss Alice Wilson, cherry and silver brocaded metal lace; Miss Myrtle Connor, Nile green flowered chiffon; Miss Lena Shenkin, ivory and rose sprigged taffeta; Miss Steadman, ivory satin beaute. Others at the cabaret were: — Mrs. Littlejohn, who wore gold metal cloth; Mrs. Alleman, parchment satin with georgette draperies; Mrs. King, ivory georgette; Mrs. Victor Macky, Lido blue satin; Mrs. Adams, parchment lace mounted on honey coloured chiffon; Mrs. Tidmarsh, ciel blue satin; Mrs. 0. J. Thedcns, opal tinted taffeta; Mrs. A. E. Moore, silver lame with diamante shoulder straps; Mrs. Alistair Stewart, larkspur blue faille with pink hip bow; Sirs. C. Louisson, mimosa yellow ring velvet; Mrs. Albert Neville, gold lame and daffodil yellow georgette; Mies Dorothy Tancr'ed, phlox pink georgette with shoulder cape; Miss Gretta Heron, black georgette and diamante; Miss F.ila Brampton, floral chiffon; Miss Audrey Walton, black ninon. with skirt of tiny frills; Miss Ailsa Lewis, chenille embossed georgette in autumn tones; Miss Ballantync, rose and green floral chiffon.
