Adamson said that under the circum--5 stances it was hard to have this break - with the game after an association of 12 ; years. He tendered his thanks to the • management for its consistent co-opera-1 : tion in the interests of junior football. After committee business the chairman, j Mr. George Rhodes, announced that in view of Mr. Adamson's long and loyal I , service and hard work for the game, it had been decided to - make him a life , member of the Auckland League, i- The nomination of Mr. -T. H. Eddowes > as new chairman of the Junior Manage- > mcnt Committee was approved. WEDNESDAY MATCHES. Another large crowd was seen at No. 1 ground at Victoria Park yesterday, when, in a hard and'fast game Waterside Workers defeated Auckland Loco by 11— S. The backs of the winners haa tetter finish, though the forwards were evenly matched. The referee had considerable trouble in "keeping people from encroaching on the field. The ■ ■ earlier game, between Nicholson Park and Town Board Rovers, was won by Nicholson Park. s—o. The City Markets and New Zcalard Fertiliser teams did not carry oat heir fixture.
