IMPORTED AUSTRALIAN SILVER. /By Telegraph.—Parlmn-.eDtarv Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. What becomes of Australian silver brought into New Zealand when the possessor is prosecuted and fined? Raising this question in the House yesterday. Mr. C. A. Wilkinson (Independent, Egniont) inquired further if the Government proposed to take additional steps to prevent the influx of Australian silver coins. "Is it not advisable," he asked, "to notify the public that Australian silver coin will not »e considered legal tender and that those accepting it do so at their own risk?"
