SECOND TROPHY TO RODNEY

Whangarei won the White Horse Cup by their third victory yesterday in the Country Week hockey tourney, and Rodney, who made a great effort in the final game, were awarded the Captain White Cup for the runners-up. Waipa, last year's winners, were in third place, it was Whangarei's tirst win since They have previously held the cup in 1913, 1914 and 1920. Auckland A had an unbeaten record in Section D. They not only went through without a loss, but had no goals scored against them. They scored 27 goals in three matches, 9 in the first, 14 in the second and" 4 in the third. .
