WOMEN'S INSTITUTES.
ORATIA. A meeting was held at Oratia recently, when members were entertained, with music and competitions. It was decided to send delegates to the annual federation meeting, and Mrs. Potter and Mrs. Marryatt expressed themselves willing to represent the branch- A large number of parcels of clothing were received, which will be distributed among needy familiee. HOBSONVILLE. The July meeting of the Hobsonville Women's Institute was held in the Public Hall on Wednesday last. Mrs. W. Sinton presided over a very fair attendance, considering the bad weather. A "bring and buy" stall proved very successful, and a good deal of sewing was done for the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs W. Sinton and Mrs. It. Bright.
