UNIVERSITY CLUB
The University Harrier Club "were the pruests on Saturday of the Technical Old Boys at an interclub run lield over a course of five and a'half miles at Onehunga. A teams' race was arranged between the better members of each club, the remaining runners forming a slow pack behind. Forty runners competed, the course being started from Upper Queen Street. Detailed results: —A. B. Browne ('Varsity) 1, L. Barker (T. 0.8) 2, N. Cooper ('Varsity) 3, S. Guclsall (T. 0.8.) 4, R. C. Haszard ('Varsity) 5, G. Hill (T. 0.8.) 6. CALLIOPE CLUB. Field day results :— 100 Yards Handicap.—Turner (9yds) 1, Court (7Jyds) 2, Gilßllan (10yds) 8. Time, 10 4-ss. High .Tump.—Court (Sin) 1. Clayton (scr.), Drurumond (2in), and Smith (Sin) equal, 2. Height 4ft 9in. 440 Yards Handicap.—Woodham (45yds) 1, Gilfillan (50yds) 2, Turner (55yds) 3. Time, 54 4-ss. One Mile.—W. McCombic (70vds) 1, R. Stacey (35yds) 2, J. Wengdal (25yds) 3. Time, 0.3.
