AGENCIES IN AUCKLAND.
P. AND O. AND E. AND A. LINES,
In connection with the appointment of the New Zealand Shipping Company as chief passenger agents for the P. and O. Company in New Zealand, it is explained that this arrangement does not affect tho status or the activities of Messrs. Russell and Somers, Limited, as local agents for the P. and O. Company. The New Zealand Shipping Company will be concerned with passenger business only, and its Auckland office will act as local agents in that department in addition to Russell and Somers, who will handle all inward, and outward freight. The same arrangement applies to the E. and A. Line. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Aucklajid office will be concerned with European passengers only as local agents, in addition to Russell and Somers, Limited, who will also handle all Chinese passenger business and all inward and outward freight.
