BALLOT FOR STRIKE.
EAILWAYS OF INDIA. CALCUTTA, June 28. In consequence of the refusal of the Kailway Board to agree to arbitration regarding drastic retrenchment proposals on the Indian railways, which will involve the dismissal of many thousands of wrkers, the Railwaymen's Federation is holding a ballot among 15 railway unions on the question of organising a strike.
