DICKENS HOUSE.
HISTORIC DOCUMENTS STOLEN. LONDON, June 25. The inventory of Dickens- House at Bloomebury reveals the theft of 52 documents, including the original preface to "Dombey and Son," and letters written by Dickens to Queen Victoria, Gladstone, Carlyle, Thackeray, Disraeli, Meredith, and Southey. Scotland Yard is taking steps to prevent the documents being smuggled out of the country;
