BON TON DANCE.
Subdued lighting effects with suspended baskets of flowers and multicoloured streamers provided an artistic scene for the weekly carnival of the club on Saturday evening. The latest dance music was enjoyed by a large gathering of patrons. Among those present were:—Mrs. Cottrell, floral velvet; Mrs. Ibbertson, apricot taffeta and silk net; Mrs. Webb, Chinese red georgette, uneven hem; Miss D. Butler, ivory satin, ankle-length; Miss M. Gladding, period frock of taffeta; Miss Enid Billing, sea green satin; Miss Iris Stone, flame taffeta; Miss Nancy Pirrct, (Tuakau), pink satin and georgette; Mies Mabel Pillinger, blue lace; Miss Thea Liddell, black silk inarocain; Miss Dot Bishop, green chiffon, ankle-length; Miss Joyce Franklin, blue chiffon; Mise Ethel Evans, white satin, uneven hem; Miss Nancie Forward, blue satin beaute; Miss K. Filton, green voile, uneven hem; Mies M. Atkins, black satin; Miss K. Hoggard, black velvet; Miss Doris JoLnson, rose pink satin, ankle-length; Miss L. Dixon, white satin and silyer; Miss A. Watson, blue satin and silver trimmings; Miss Millicent Paul, pink crepe de chine and silver; Miss P. Bray, blue floral ninon; Miss M. Copie, Chinese red satin beaute; Miss J. Smith, blue taffeta and georgette; Miss V. Green, blue floral georgette; Mies Mona Paul, black crepe de chine with black lace; Miss Winifred Barnes, coral pink georgette.
