MOAN AT AIARI G.M. CO. The report of the directors of tlie Cale-donia-Kuranui-Moanataiari G.M. Company' for the half-year states that prospects in thel mine have shown considerable improvement, several parcels of picked stone having been t secured, some of the pieces being good j enough to be classed as specimens. The' stateinent of accounts from September 30 to; March 31 shows expenditure oh mine development for the period £926, of which £486 was for wages. Against this expenditure was £78 15/ subsidy from the Government, £138 from bullion, and £37 10/ front] crusliings. There is a contingent liability l'or Government subsidies received of £910 5/10. Otner liabilities ore: Sundry creditors £2205 12/2, bills payable £088 13/10, and bank overdraft £480 11/4. The report refers i to the proposal to form a new. company forj the purpose of raisinj? funds to pay on Ibo liabilities of the present, company and provide capital to vigorously develop the property.
