LATE MR. W. R. ELLINGHAM,
The high esteem in which the late Mr. W. R. Ellingliam, merchant, of Customs Street, was held, was shown by the large attendance at his funeral yesterday afternoon. Prior to the departure of the cortege for Hilleboro' Cemetery, a service was held in the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle, in which the Rev. Joseph Kemp was assisted by Dr. J. J. North. Tributes were paid to the sterling character of the late Mr. Ellingliam. The service at the grave was conducted by Mr.. Kemp. The bearers were Mr. C. H. Furnees, president of the Y.M.C.A., Mr. A. Ross Penman, president of the Manure to Children's Home, Mr. P. H. Mohr and. Mr. R. Peacocke, secretary and manager respectively of E. Ellingham and Company, Limited, Mr. George Winstone and Mr. Frank Winstoae.
