BON TON DANCE.
Tlie carnival spirit was in evidence when a large number of patrons attended the club's dance on Saturday evening. The subdued lighting effects with many coloured streamers and balloons made a gay scene. The orchestra played in their usual pleasing style. Among those present were: Mrs. Page, blue floral georgette, ankle length; Mrs. Bennett, j red georgette and crepe du chine; Miss j K. Power, black velvet; Miss M. Tyne, | blue satin; Miss U. McPike, black lace over gold skirt; Miss E. Young, lemon crepe de chine; Miss N. Bickerton, green satin beaute; Miss A. Gedye, green georgette, ankle length; Miss M. Hall, red lace frock; Miss A. Bower, red niuon; Miss J. Brain, floral satin; Miss It. Gold, berg, black satin beaute and lace; Miss E. Guaney, black georgette and lace; Miss Jenkins, blue crepe de chine; Miss L. Jenkins, salmon pink crepe de chine; Miss E. Williams, peacock blue crepe de chine; Miss A. Fowke, blue lace Miss Broadhurst, flame georgette, ankle length; Miss D. Bracken, flowered taffeta; Miss K. Temm, green satin; Miss S. Stewart, red crepe de chine; Miss A. Truelove, white satin; Miss R. Dell, pink lace frock; Miss E. Clarke, pink l crepe de chine; Miss Edna Thompson, floral ninon, ankle length; Miss Rene Elvey, stencilled mauve georgette; Miss L. Reed, cherry georgette and silver lace; Miss E. Brown, Nile green panne velvet, ankle length.
