Three Visiting 'Planes.
Unfavourable weather conditions prevented the attendance of machines expected from New Plymouth, but three visiting 'planes Were present, two from Masterton, piloted respectively by Messrs. B. Armstrong. and K. S. McMaster, with Mrs. Marsaek and Mr. McNicol as passengers, and the Gipsy Moth which Mr. E. D. McNeill flew from Invercargill early in the week. <■ . . The president of the club, Mr. Spencer R. Mason, welcomed- the visitors, and said that the clubhouse must play an increasingly important part in promoting that air spirit which was so much to be desired. . A spectacular aerial display was given by Flight-Lieutenant D. M. Allen, the Club's instructor, and Pilot-Oflicer E. B. Firth. A number of visitors were taken for flights.
