MEETINGS DURING WEEK. (By Telegraph.-—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. Inquiries in trade union quarters ij Wellington do not support any sugges tion that the Arbitration Court's reduc tion of wages will be followed by imme diate "direct action." The waterside workers throughout th Dominion will hold meetings during th week to consider the position. Welling ton's meeting date is not fixed. It i expected that there will be similar meel ings of coalminers during the week.
