HOTEL LICENSES.
MANUKAU DISTRICT. The annual meeting of the Manukau Licensing Committee was held at noon to-day in the' Courthouse, Onehunga. There were present Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M. (chairman), Messrs. J. Rowe, W. H. Gavin, E. V. Sutherland and R. H. Mackenzie. Sergeant S. A. Brown reported favourably on the conduct of the seven hotels in the electorate. New licenses were granted to Robert W. Cuthbert, Post Office Hotel, Onehunga, and Frank J. Barton, Manukau Hotel, Onehunga. The following renewals were made— Robert D. Rii£g, Club Hotel, Onehunga; Frederick J. Murray, Exchange Hotel, Onehunga; Richard H. Mcfcaac, Ellerslie Hotel; Hugh McGahan, Prince Albert Hotel, Onehunga; Hugh McNaughton, Panmure Hotel.
