OTAHUHU CLUB.
In spite of adverse weather conditions the official opening o£ the Otahuhu Golf Club was lielrl at the new links on Saturday. Mr. S. W. House, president of the club, extended a welcome to the visitors and referred to the club's pood fortune in securing the present property. He said the membership now stood at CO men and 100 ladies, representing an increase of 46 members since last year. Mr Wardell. of the Everslie Club, replied on* behalf of the visitors after which Mrs. R. Wallace, wife o£ the patron, drove the first ball. . A mixed foursome match over nine holes resulted in a win for J. Williams and Mrs. McNeilv with a net score of 33. The next best cards were:—B. O. Heather and Miss H. Percy, 3" : E. Stephenson and Miss E. Whiteley, 371; Waddell and Miss Wyllic, 30.
