WAIUKU V. PUKEKOHE.

The teams cup recently donated to the Franklin Golf Association by Messrs. Walker and Hall for annual competition was won for the first time on Saturday, when Waiuku defeated Pukekohe in the final. The match was played on the Pukekohe links in drizzling rnin, Waiuku winning by a margin of three games. There were some verv close contests. Results are as follow, Waiuku names being mentioned first:—Singles : P. Howden and H. E Kissling. all square : W. S. Colbcck lost to C. G. Johnson, 3 and 2: A. W. M. Ohlson beat D. Coyle, 1 up; T. R. Bloomtield beat J. Roulston. jun.. 3 and 1. Foursomes: Howden and Colbeck beat Johnson and Kissling, 2 up; Ohlson and Bloomfield beat Covle and Roulston, 8 and 6. in conjunction with the cup match, a home-and-home match between Waiuku and Pukekohe was also played.
