The Hon. A. J. Murdoch, Minister of Mines, visited the underground workings of the Waihi mine this morning, and left later for Pacroa. The Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, Minister of Health, yesterday met the Mayor and deputy-Mayor of Mount Eden and discussed several matters affecting the progress of the borough. Later he conferred with the relief committee of the Auckland Hospital, and was busy at the Ministerial rooms till he left for Wellington by the Limited express.
