LANG TO ATTEND.
PREMIERS' CONFERENCE. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Premier, Mr. J. T. Lang, has announced that he will attend the Premiers' Conference at Melbourne next Monday. FORFEITED HIS SEAT? MOVE AGAINST MR. LANG. SYDNEY, May 20. The executive of the Riverina movement at Wagga has decided to obtain legal advice on the question of Mr. Lang's right to retain a seat in Parliament.
It is contended that he automatically forfeited his seat under the Constitution when he defaulted by the non-payment of the interest to British bondholdere in London.
