Official Executioner of Paris Retires. "NOT AN EASY LIFE." (Received 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, May 20. After executing 242 murderers in 51 years, 11. Deibler, the official executioner of Paris, is resigning, and will return to his country home. In reviewing his career, Deibler says his has not been Avhat one might call an easy life. His work needs a steady hand and a quick eye. He performed his last execution on May 5. His son-in-law will succeed him.
