AT TE RAPA.
LUPIN ABBEY JUMPS WELL. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") HAMILTON, this day. Occasional light showers fell during training work at Te Kapa this morning. Mervette and Flying Prince ran a mile on the No. 1 grass in 1.47, the former doing best. Both are in good order. First Lap, who had the woree of the weights, and L'Allegro ran seven furlongs in 1.34. G. Goldsbro will ride the former on Saturday. King Ford was restricted to pace work. Pouri jumped two hurdles and worked well over once round. There was a suspicion of lameness when he came back. Lupin Abbey defeated Star Comet over six steeplechase fences. The former's display was good. R. E. Thomson will ride him on Saturday and C. Carmont oil Monday. Hakanoa went once round on No. 1 grass in 2.5, Palmares galloping on terms for eix furlonge. C. Mason will ride the former in the hurdles at Te Awamutu.
