RICHMOND CLUB PROTEST. REPLAY WITH MARIST. The Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League last evening at its weekly meeting dealt in committee with the protest of the Richmond Rovers club against their recent match with Marist Old Boys being awarded to the latter team owing to time being exceeded by two minutes thirty seconds. The evidence of the timekeeper (Mr. Gibbons) had been taken a week ago, and the inquiry was adjourned to hear the referee, Mr. P. Rogers. After a lengthy discussion the League decided in the interests of all parties, to order a replay. A donation of £11/ was made to the Auckland City District Schools' Committee for the annual free cocoa distribution in the schools during the winter months. The manager (Mr. T. T. Garland) of IZR broadcasting station, submitted a proposition for the broadcasting of matches at Carlaw Park. Decision was deferred.

An application by the Xorthcote and Birkenhead Ramblers' Club for the uplifting of the suspension on D. Moore, now a coach of lower grade teams, was referred for judicial consideration. Transfers granted were P. Meehan, from Xewmarket to Marist senior reserve, and A. X. French, from Ponsonby second grade to City Rovers reserve. Ivan R., Wilson and Gordon Wilson were regraded to second grade on the application of the Papakura club. Clarence G. Culpan (Whangarei) and W. J. Francis (Papakura) were reinstated. Messrs. S. W. House, P. Young and T. Kirk wood, officials of the Mangere United Rugby League Club, waited upon the League as a deputation, asking that Mangere be a separate institution as a junior club.
