Mutton: Wethers, steadier, with better demand generally. Ewee meeting with better inquiry. Frozen beef: Dull and neglected. Pigs: New Zealand porker market is firmer, but consumption falling off. For baconers there is very little inquiry.

DAIRY PRODUCE. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co. have received the following cable from their London principals, Messrs. Nathan and Trengrouse dated London, May 2:—Butter: Unchanged and quiet. Cheese: New Zealand, white, 47/ to 48/; coloured, 50/ to 51/. Firm. Messrs. Leonard and Son have received advice by cable from Mr, A. C.
