STREPHON SOLD

EACES DISAPPOINTINGLY. LONDON, May 2. Mr. Sol. Green, of Melbourne, has sold the Australian horse Strephon to Mr. Gerald Deanc, acting on behalf of himself and Mr. Somervillc Tattersall, who intend to race him jointly. The price is not disclosed, but is declared to be ridiculously small. Strephon ran a very poor race on Thursday and caused the greatest disappointment."
