TWO SHOPS DESTROYED.
BAKER'S AND FRUITERER'S. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) LEVIN, this day. A fire occurred at Shannon early on Sunday morning by which two shops, occupied by Messrs. J. A. Roach, baker, and Hing Lee, fruiterer, were destroyed. Considerable damage was also done to an adjoining shop which was occupied by Mr. H. Hook, tobacconist. The fire started in the living rooms at the rear of Hing Lee's premises. Particulars of insurances so far available are that Roach's building was covered for £500 and the contents for £125, also that Hing Lee's stock was o*p#B* for '$200.
