RUGBY BROADCASTS.
CANTERBURY UNION'S TERMS
REQUESTS FEE OF GOO. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. It seems definite that Rugby football will not be broadcast in Canterbury this season over the radio. Mr. H. R. Harris, general manager of the company, cays the local union requested a fee of £500 for the privilege of broadcasting competition and provincial games. "Those terms leave nothing more to be said. The union' 3 wishes are quite clear, and we will leave it at that, said Hr. Harris.
