OUR WEEKLY MOTTO.
i The mottoes to-day were not as good as those contributed for la,st week's competition* Thelma Millett, Orua Bay, via Onehunga. was awarded the half-crown prize, whilst the work of Mary Duncan, Kathleen MeNamara and Walter Carpinter was highly commended. We have careful words for strangers And smiles for the sometimes guest, But oft for our own the careless words, Though we love our own the best.
