TOWN BOARD NOTICES. EDEN TOWN DISTRICT. SPECIAL ORDER. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Glen Eden Town Board, duly convened for the purpose, and held on Monday, the 13th day of April, 1931, the following resolution, intended to operate as a Special Resolution, was passed, and will come up for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Glen Eden Town Board, to be held on MONDAY, the 11th day of May, 1931, in the Board's Office at the Public Hall, Glen Eden RESOLUTION. That in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in it in +hdt behalf by the Town Boards Act, 1908, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1920, and Section 135 of the Public Works' Act, 1928, and an Order-in-Council authorising the construction of a bridge over the Wliau Creek, on the AucklandIlelensville Main Highway, and apportioning the cost thereof, and dated the sth day of November 1930, THE GLEN EDEN TOWN BOARD doth hereby, bySpecial Resolution intended to operate as a Special Order, resolve: — (1) To raise and borrow a Special Loan of £350 for the purpose of providing the amount necessary to enable the Town Board to comply with the order made by the Governor-General under Section 135 of the Public Works Act, 1928, for payment of its share of the cost of construction of the said Bridge over the Wliau Creek on the Auekland-Helensville Main Highway. (2) That such Special Loan be cailed "The Wliau Bridge Reconstruction Loan, 1931." (3) That the currency or term of the Loan be twenty years. (4) That the rate of interest on Loan be £5| per centum per annum. (5) That jjrovision for repayment of such Loan be made by setting aside • a Sinking Fund of 3 per centum per annum. (0) That the security for the said Loan and the interest, sinking fund and other charges thereon be a Special Rate of 1.32 pence in the £ on the ratable value of all ratable property in the Glen Eden Town District.
