RIO RITA DANCE.
A canopy of blue and gold overhead and delicately-shaded Chinese lanterns, which were suspended from the ceiling, provided artistic decoration at the Crystal Palace ballroom on Tuesday evening, when a large attendance enjoyed a successful carnival night. Smith, Nile green embossed georgette, ankle length; Miss O. Rea, pink georgette and tulle, ankle length; Miss L. Reed, flame georgette, ankle length; Miss E. Brown, sea foam green taffeta; Miss V. Copeland, rose figured taffeta, ankle length; Miss N. Bray, green chenille georgette; Miss M. Owen, ivory georgette and tulle, ankle length; Miss Taylor, lime green georgette; Miss Dawson, mauve shot taffeta; Miss E. Panther, orange georgette; Miss D. Kitney, red crepe de chine; Miss L. Atkinson, blue taffeta; Miss R. Ried, floral satin; Miss S. Morane, blue crepe de chine and lace; Miss G. Spratt, pink satin, ankle length; Miss Robertson, black georgette; Miss Watson, blue satin and lnce; Miss Young, blue georgette uneven hem; Miss Arden, apple green lace, ankle length; Miss W. Stevenson, pink and white georgette; Miss M. Hart, white satin ninon, ankle length; Miss L. Nicoll. black velvet; Mis-s N. Conway, blue floral ninon;. Miss J. Farndom, red ring velvet, relieved with silver georgette" Miss Jones,, powder blue taffeta; Miss Clark, amber satin beaute; Miss G. Walsh, black satin; Miss L. Ward, blue georgette; Miss D. Ward, pink georgette; Miss Morris, blue shot taffeta; Miss Iv. NasTi, pink satin; Miss Wilson, salmon satin, ankle length; Miss 0. King, red embossed georgette, uneven hem; Miss Douglas, peach crepe de chine, with embossed georgette.
