LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
PAPATOETOE CLUB'S MEETING. The Papatoetoe League Football Club held its annual meeting this week. Mr. F. Healy presided over a large attendance of players and supporters. The report and balance-sheet showed that the club was in a sound position. Officers were elected as follows: —Patron, Mr. A. W. Hall. M.i\; president. Mr. J. Franklin ; vice-presidents, Messrs. E. H. Burton, W. Balderson, G. Cregan, F. E. Carr, H. C. Ernest, W. Dulihanty, P. Dawson, J. Walker, W. Young, T. R. Smytheman. W. Nesbitt, B. L. Liversy, F. White. A. G. Grinter, P. E. Suttie, W. Will cox, C. J. Mahon, J. Gedye, P. W. Walker, Dr. J. J. Valentine and Dr. A. B. Jameson; secretary. Mr. L. W. Lovett; assistant secretary, Mr. C. Patterson; auditor, Mr. R. N. St. George; chairman of committee, Mr. J. Kidd; club captain, Mr. J. Henderson ; coaches, Messrs. Lovett, Gallagher, Coon, Henderson; executive committee, Messrs. J. Kidd, E. Leaning, C. G. Culpan. F. Healy. E. Morris. N. Harris, W. Coon, R. Marshall, and J. Henderson. It was decided to nominate five teams for the season, third grade open, fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade and school boys.
