WHANGAREI, this day,
The newly-metalled, portions of the road to Auckland are standing up well under the recent rain. Cars have been going through without chains, and have experienced no difficulty. The northern patrol of the A.A.A. reports that traffic returning eouth was yery heavy yesterday.
