ONEHONGA POLICE OFFICER.
Senior-Sergeant D. J. O'Neill was fa welled last niglit at Onehunga by bers of the police force and J" sl Department. Senior Constable Poll presented senior sergeant with an eight-day c on behalf of those present. Mrs. Oa was the recipient of a silver sugar ba and spoon from the wives of the po constables stationed at Onehunga. Poll made the presentation. , Reference was made by Mr. C. erts, clerL of the Magistrate's Court, the efficiency and popularity of Sergeant O'Neill during his stay at hunga." ' i ■
