CONFERENCE IN WANGANUI.

WANGANUI, Saturday.

The district conference of the Independent Order of Rechabites closed its triennial session last night. Officers were elected as follow: D.C.R., Bro. C. H. Baxand (Christchurchj; D.D.C.R., Bro. F. E. Davis (Wellington); district secretary, Bro. Thomas Fathers (Wellington); district treasurer, Bro. W. Johnson (Wellington); D.S.J.T., Bro. F. B. Clark (Wanganui); D.S.F.M., Sister G. Bunt (Christchurch); district levite, Bro. G. Skipworth (Invercargill); district guardian, Bro. A. V. Gain (Dunedin); editor of "New Zealand Rechabitti," Bro. A. D. Hassall (Christchurch). The officers were installed and the next district council was fixed for Dunedin in 1934.
