AMBULANCE'S FAST RUN

In response to an urgent call the St. John Ambulance made a fast run to the Warkworth Hospital last evening to bring a case to an Auckland private hospital. The ambulance left the city at T o'clock and arrived back at midnight. Owing to the loading improvements, which are in progress beyond Deep Creek, it was necessaYy to make a long detour via Long Bay. On the return journey an immediate connection was made with the vehicular ferry, which was waiting at Devonport.
