PUKEKOHE HIGH SCHOOL'S GALA.
PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN. FINE STANDARD DISPLAYED. FINALS THIS EVENING. A fine all round standard of swimming was seen at tlie Tepid Batlis yesterday afternoon,* when the Auckland Primary Schools' Amateur Swimming and Liver saving Association continued their annual championships. During the day no fewer than 71 standard times, as set by the New Zealand Swimming Association, were broken. The long programme of heats and semi-finals was put through without a hitch, a fact which was made possible by excellent organisation. The finals in both the boys and girls' events will be held this evening, commencing at 7 o'clock.
