CRICKETERS FAREWELLED.
To farewell Mr. G. L. Weir and Mr. R. G. Vivian, who will leave Xew Zealand oil March 28 with the cricket team to tour England, a successful dance was given at the Peter Pan Cabaret last evening by the members oi' the Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys' Association. A large number of old boys of the school were present and ako a number of representatives from various cricket clubs in Auckland, and a very enjoyable time was spent. On the tables surrounding the dance floor vases containing brown and gold-coloured flowers made effective decoration, and softly-shaded lights enhanced the scene. The latest dance numbers were played by the band, who received many encores. Among those present were: Mrs. Hockin, who wore a frock of salmon pink floral georgette; Mrs. W.
