EXTRAORDINARY ERROR.
UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION. WRONG CANDIDATES NAMED. TWO WHO HAD NOT PASSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. An extraordinary mistake that was made in the supplementary university examination results for Latin 111. was cleared up yesterday, when the results were published. Last Friday it was thought that something was wrong, and yesterday the rector of Canterbury College received a telegram from Wellington stating that the only failures at Canterbury College were the two candidates Avhose names had previously been cabled as having passed.
