MISSING PROM CLAYMORE

MAN SEEN IN EARLY MORNING,

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Monday. In connection -with the disappearance of Mr. W. B. Brabazon, Whangarei manager for Dalgety and Company, Ltd., who was a passenger on the steamer Claymore, which left Auckland for Whangarei at 9.30 p.m. yesterday, it is stated that Mr. Brabazon was seen before retiring for the night by a steward at 11 p.m. At about 3.30 a.m. to-day the mate saw a passenger in his niglit attire leaning over the rail, apparently very sea-sick. He is now thought to have been the missing man It was impossible to carry out a search when Mr. Brabazon was missed.
