While praise is being showered on our Prime Minister for the so-called masterful way in which he endeavours to reduce wages, would it not be wise to particularise a little concerning the whole of his programme and take, for example, the passage in which he states that he is quite certain the mortgagee and mortgagor will work in harmony in order to adjust mortgages falling due and arrange extensions, etc.? Having had experiences with mortgagees, I feel confident that these gentlemen are not so easily led or agreeable.
