FINANCING CANADIAN WHEAT.
WINNIPEG, February 21. The total liability of the Provinces of Alberta. Saskatchewan and Manitoba, on guarantees of bank advances to the wheat pool is about £4,440,000, on the basis of wheat price at February 16, namelj, 58% cents per bushel. The Premier of Manitoba, Mi. «• Bracken, announced in the Legislature to-day that Manitoba's share was about £700,000, Saskatchewan s about £2,000,-JUU, and Alberta's £1,240,000. It is now considered that unless prices recede the assets of the pool and the Manitoba Pool Elevators, Ltd., will be sufficient to cover the amount of "he liability." 1
