LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
RESULTS IN ENGLAND.
LONDON, February 21
The results of the football matches played to-day for the Northern Union Cup in the second round were as follow -Bramley 0, v. Oldham 11; Castleford 2, v. St. Helens 8; Wigan Highfleld 13, v. Hunslet 12 !; Warrington 9, v. St. Helens Recreation 0; Salford 9, v. Leeds 0; York 13, v. Huddersfield 2 ; Rochdale "Hornets 7, v. Broughton Rangers 15; Swinton 0, v. Halifax 2. In the League matches the results were:—Leigh 8, v. Bradford Northern 0 ; Wigan 45, v. Featherstone 0. The majority of the Leigh team struck on Thursday, as they refused to accept lower wages. To-day's team was composed mainly of reserve players.
