BOARD MEMBER RE-ELECTED.

WELLINGTON, Saturday.
By a postal ballot Mr. H. M. Patrick lias been elected to tlie Post and. Telegraph Promotion Board as representative for the ensuing three years of the officers of the Department. The candidates for election were Mr. Hugh McAllister Patrick, supervisor, Public Service garage, Wellington, and sitting representative, and Mr. Ernest Alfred Thompson, assistant supervisor, delivery section, telegraph branch, Christchurch. The result of the election was as follows:—■ Patrick 4120 Thompson 1910 Informal 26 Majority for Patrick — 2210 The Promotion Board consists erf th« Secretary of the Post and Telegrapb Department (Mr. G.
