By a postal ballot Mr. H. M. Patrick lias been elected to tlie Post and. Telegraph Promotion Board as representative for the ensuing three years of the officers of the Department. The candidates for election were Mr. Hugh McAllister Patrick, supervisor, Public Service garage, Wellington, and sitting representative, and Mr. Ernest Alfred Thompson, assistant supervisor, delivery section, telegraph branch, Christchurch.
