OPERATIONS FOR YEAR
The annual report of the Auckland Business Men's Relief Service for the year ended November 30 last states that the year was a very hard and difficult one, but that the executive was grateful for practical help and sympathy, which enabled much to be done. Relief totalling £1584 was given during the year, which included £500 disbursed on behalf of the Returned Soldiers' Association. The executive handled food and clothing to the' value of approximately £3000 in connection with the charity drive organised by the Commercial Travellers' Association.
