: (i ' i . DOMINION OFFICERS ELECTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The Gas Institute yesterday decided that in future its annual conference be limited to three days. ' The election of -officers resulted: President,' Mr. J. Learmonth (Masterton); vice-president, Mr. , O'Toole (Invercargill)'; secretary, Mr. A. Morrie Taylor (Timaru); treasurer, Mr. G'. A. Macfarlane (Christeliurcli)"; counMessrs. L. Pickering (Napier), A. Couper '(Dunedin), ; and H.> Appleyard (Petone); auditor/ Mr. J. J. Hurley; trustee, Mr. F. W. J. Bolt. It was decided to donate £21 to the Havvke's Bay relief fund. i Mr. L."Pickering,; manager of the Napier gas works, "in a telegram said that a reconstruction of his works was being commenced, and he asked for advice from the conference regarding the discovery of leaking mains, number of delegates gave their' experiences in "the discovery of leaking mains,;'' and Mr. Appleyard (Petone) offered his services in any way they could be used. '.
